Therapy for Davie County, without the long wait

Meet from home in Mocksville, Advance, Bermuda Run, or Cooleemee, or come see us in person in Mooresville (about 35 minutes down I-40 and I-77).

Davie County has about 950 residents for every mental health provider, which is more than three times the state average. That usually means long drives, long waitlists, or both. We’d like to make it easier.

We see kids (ages 5 and up), teens, and adults. Most people who reach us from Davie County meet by secure video, so you can have your session from your living room, your parked car, or your office with the door closed. If in-person works better for you, our Mooresville office is an easy drive.

What we help with

  • Anxiety and the stress that comes with full, busy lives

  • Depression, trauma, and plenty more (if you don’t see what you’re dealing with here, just ask)

  • Burnout (especially for teachers, healthcare workers, and caregivers)

  • ADHD and autism in kids, teens, and adults, including later-in-life identification

  • Perfectionism and people-pleasing

  • Divorce and life transitions

  • Religious trauma

  • Performance pressure for students, athletes, and high achievers

Insurance we take

We’re in network with Blue Cross NC, Aetna, and MedCost, including the NC State Health Plan (which covers most Davie County Schools and county employees). Private pay, superbills, and reduced-rate spots are available too.

Getting started

You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out. A free consultation call is a low-pressure way to tell us a little about what’s going on and ask anything you’d like. We’ll take it from there together.

Common questions

Is online therapy as effective as in-person?

For most concerns, research shows it works just as well. The relationship with your therapist matters far more than the setting.

Do I have to be in North Carolina?

Yes. Because our therapists are licensed in North Carolina, you need to be physically located in NC during each session.

Does insurance cover online sessions?

In most cases, yes. We’re in-network with BCBSNC, Aetna, and MedCost, which generally cover telehealth the same way as in-person visits.

Can I switch between online and in-person?

Absolutely. Plenty of our clients do a mix, depending on their week.
