Therapy for Lincoln County, right across the lake
Online sessions from home in Denver, Lincolnton, and beyond, or in person in Mooresville (about 15 to 35 minutes away).
If you live in Lincoln County and have tried to find a therapist, you already know how hard it can be. Lincoln has one of the thinnest supplies of mental health providers in our region (about 990 residents for every provider, compared with roughly 290 statewide), so waitlists are long and options are few. We want to help close that gap.
We offer therapy for kids (ages 5 and up), teens, and adults. You can meet with us by secure video from wherever you are in Denver, Lincolnton, Iron Station, Vale, or anywhere else in North Carolina. If you’d rather sit in the same room, our Mooresville office is a short drive across Lake Norman on NC 150 or NC 73.
What we help with
Anxiety, stress, and burnout
ADHD and autism, including adults who are figuring this out later in life
Perfectionism and people-pleasing
Divorce and other big life transitions
Religious trauma
Performance pressure for athletes, performers, students, and high achievers
Support for kids and teens (and the parents who love them)
Depression, trauma, and lots more (if it isn’t listed here, reach out and ask)
Insurance we take
We’re in network with Blue Cross NC, Aetna, and MedCost. That includes the State Health Plan, which covers most Lincoln County Schools staff and county employees. We also offer private pay, superbills, and a limited number of reduced-rate spots.
Getting started
Starting therapy shouldn’t feel like one more hard thing. Book a free consultation call, and we’ll talk through what’s going on, answer your questions, and figure out together whether we’re a good fit. If we’re not, we’ll help point you toward someone who is.
Common questions
Is online therapy as effective as in-person?
For most concerns, research shows it works just as well. The relationship with your therapist matters far more than the setting.
Do I have to be in North Carolina?
Yes. Because our therapists are licensed in North Carolina, you need to be physically located in NC during each session.
Does insurance cover online sessions?
In most cases, yes. We’re in-network with BCBSNC, Aetna, and MedCost, which generally cover telehealth the same way as in-person visits.
Can I switch between online and in-person?
Absolutely. Plenty of our clients do a mix, depending on their week.
